(FULL VISUAL ALBUM) CMXCIX — Q.TRIPLE.SIX ft. Justen Angel | Grunge‑Rap × Dark Trance Experiment
“CMXCIX – Q.TRIPLE.SIX” is a full visual grunge album — dark, trance‑like, and soaked in the kind of atmosphere you can only create when you’re living on the edge of burnout and inspiration. This project deserves a follow‑up, but it took countless cans of Olde English to make the first one, and I’m just not in that place anymore. That era is gone, and the tape reflects it.
Every track on this album lives in a beautiful, corrupted corner of the forgotten internet — the kind of spaces that used to exist before everything got polished and optimized. Broken forums, dead links, cursed GIFs, abandoned blogs, grainy screenshots, and glitchy audio files that feel like they were never meant to be found. That’s the world this album belongs to.
The sound started taking shape when I stumbled across Delroy and Memphis Witchcraft — that raw, haunted Southern energy mixed with distorted grunge textures. From there, the project took off on its own. Heavy bass, blown‑out drums, hypnotic loops, and vocals that feel like they’re coming from a basement ritual or a lost VHS tape.
CMXCIX is grime, trance, and internet folklore stitched together.
It’s the sound of a late‑night spiral, a digital séance, a grunge‑rap fever dream that shouldn’t work but absolutely does.
This album isn’t just dark — it’s intentional darkness. A world built from distortion, trance rhythms, and the ghosts of the early web.
